Having Poor/Challenging Relationships with your Parents/Kids? Check your Pluto/Neptune signs

Having difficulties with your children or parents? Do you wonder why your children don't share the same ideals as you? Chances are, your Pluto and Neptune signs aren't compatible with each other.

Your Neptune sign represents your ideals and dreams (generational, of course), while your Pluto sign represents your core reality (on a generational level, this is different than your Sun sign). Around the time you're in your 20s and early 30s, Pluto will be in the same sign your Neptune is in; this basically signals that your generation is coming of age. When you have kids during this time, this means that your ideals and dreams will become their reality. This is yet another example of the Pluto sextile Neptune effect. The GI Generation gave birth to the Baby Boomers, who gave birth to Generation X, who gave birth to Generation Z; the Silent Generation gave birth to the Late Boomers, who gave birth to the Millennials. However, many in each generation wait to have children, mainly because they just don't feel ready to have any yet. That is understandable, as being a parent is a very big responsibility. However, when you wait past a certain age, that sextile, a harmonious aspect, becomes a square, which is a very challenging aspect (even more challenging than the opposition). This can be softened if you have personal planets in each others' Pluto and Neptune signs, but you shouldn't always count on that. If you wait till around 50 or near it, it turns into a trine, which is an extremely harmonious aspect, even moreso than the sextile. This is why people tend to get along with their grandparents better than their actual parents. Pluto was in Cancer for around 27 years, and Scorpio is trine Cancer; for the Pluto in Libras, their Pluto is sextile the Neptune of their GI Generation grandparents, softening the square between Cancer and Libra; for the Baby Boomers, Leo is sextile Gemini, etc.

What should you do if you're having differences with each other for reasons that are because of a generation gap? First, realize that everybody is unique in their own way. Second, remember that people will always act more like their peers than their parents. Every single one of your child's classmates will have Pluto and Neptune in the exact same sign, unless your child is in or near a "cusp" period. That's a big reason why children clashing with their classmates is basically unheard of, unlike with teachers and principals. If everybody was the exact same way, the world would be a lot less interesting. Keep all this in mind the next time you feel frustrated that your children aren't taking your ideals to heart.
